Time Capsule Cards Vs Share A Memory
People often want to know what the difference is between a time capsule card and a share a memory card so this article attempts to clarify this.
So, in a nutshell, they are the same thing and pretty much serve the same purpose.
A birthday party time capsule is set up on it's own table at a party venue along with an information card to tell guests what they need to do. The personalised printed cards accompany the sign and guests simply fill out a card as per the instructions. The card may ask 'What's your best memory or the birthday person?' or 'What is your advice for the future?'. Cards are then popped in a basket or box and collected by the party host. The cards are then kept safe ready for their 18th birthday! They make a great talking point at a party and a brilliant centrepiece at a venue.
Now, here is where the difference comes in. If a person is UNDER 18, these cards are generally known as 'time capsule cards' as the intention is to give them to the recipient on their milestone 18th birthday.
However, if someone is beyond 18, the cards are simply kept and treasured to be enjoyed at a later date in which case they are then more appropriately named as 'Share a Memory' cards.
In other words, they are the same thing and can be used in the same way but depending on WHEN they will be given to the recipient will determine which item is best.
Of course, here at Heart E Designs, everything we offer is designed in-house and so if you want the artwork from a 'Time Capsule' but believe it is more suited for a recipient beyond 18, that is no problem at all, just ask us.
